Bridging Worlds: Providing Cultural Safe Care to Improve Indigenous Health

This live, in-person event will provide nurses and other healthcare professionals with knowledge on how to provide culturally congruent care to diverse populations with a focus on the health care of the Indigenous peoples. Attendees will hear from two highly experienced healthcare experts who not only teach but live and provide care to Indigenous peoples on tribal lands. Nurses and other health care professionals will be able to understand how history has created health care barriers for Indigenous peoples and how they can help build the bridge between different cultural worlds for the purposes of building trust and optimizing patient care outcomes.
